MUSIC PLANT RECORDING ARTIST SK8 TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE
Debuting “Crazy In Love” just in time for summer love on the beach
New York, NY – SK8, the New York-based recording artist, writer and producer, returns with a new single to dance to this summer.
The track, “Crazy In Love”, is a sure-fire dance floor anthem written and produced by Georgie Porgie (aka George Andros), reknowned producer and label head of Music Plant/Live!. It was recorded in Chicago, at the label’s studios.
Following the success of SK8’s first release on the label, “Into The Light” (September 2010), the late-June release is another venture in her relationship with Andros and Music Plant.
“I’m so excited about this single,” says SK8. “It takes my vocals and energy to a completely new level. I’m very happy to be working with Music Plant and Georgie in Chicago, the home of house music legends.”
Mixes will include Oscar Valazquez, Tod Miner, Razor and Guido, G. Cavelle Project, Billboard Reporter Tony Marinos, Phil Deacon (London) and The Mirrormen.
**SK8 will debut the single Sunday, June 12 at Milwaukee Pride.
Update on ‘Into The Light’
Greetings from snowy icy New York! We wanted to share some news on Into The Light.
The video has recently been added to rotation throughout the US in gyms and fitness clubs, shopping malls, and assorted stores. The radio edit is included in the February rotation at Madison Square Garden! This means it will be played at all sporting events, which is great because the Knicks, St. John‘s Red Storm basketball, and Big East basketball games fill the month.
Additionally, SK8 has been performing live around the US, was in Rio de Janeiro for New Year’s, and has some more gigs lining up. We’re also working on Pride events for her to perform. Feedback from fans and club promoters/producers has been very positive!
Thanks for all your continued support. There is a lot of life left in this record, and people are taking notice!
